Traveling on a Cruise

There are many cruise lines that sail out of Florida. Each cruise line has a whole fleet of cruise ships so there will always be something for everyone on every cruise. You pick where you want to go and for how long and the cruise lines or companies that do third party booking will find the right ship for you at the right price! Cruises from Florida usually has the options of going to the Bahamas, the Eastern Caribbean, the Western Caribbean and Mexico. You can even catch a Transatlantic cruise out of Florida if you like. Ports of call in Florida are in: Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Port Canaveral, Jacksonville & Tampa.

Cruises can be tons of fun but there is a way to get cruises cheaper than they already are. Last minute cruises are the way to go. If a cruise ship is not full they will offer last minute cruises at a very low rate just to fill the rooms; I’ve seen them for like $140 (sometimes less) for a three day cruise! Call different cruise lines two or three days before a cruise is suppose to set sail and they will usually give you a great “last minute” rate! Most rates are all inclusive with the exception of the casinos, alcohol and port taxes.

Most cruise lines also allow you to book a year in advance. You may not save a lot of money but most of them will allow you to put a down payment on a cruise and then make payments for the rest of it at your leisure. You can book an awsome cruise and pay a little here and a little there so your pocket book doesn’t feel a big hit from it all at once. Bon Voyage!
