Hangursbanen is a landmark in Voss! It is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the village, and therefore a trip with Dinglo and Danglo is something you should definitely take with you. The Hangur railway is close to the city center, and it does not take more than ten minutes to walk here.

It's easy to find:

From the center: Take your starting point in the church. Have the main entrance on your right, and go under the railway bridge further ahead. Then follow the road for approx. 300 m. Until the first crossroads, turn right. Stay on this road for about 300 m. And you will get the Hangursbanen on the right side. There are signs all the way.

From the train station: Cross the footbridge, turn right, and then left at the junction. Stay on this road for about 300m. And you will get the Hangursbanen on the right side. There are signs all the way.

By car: Follow the same road description as pedestrians from the city center. There is a small car park by the track. The parking lot at the courthouse (close to the church) has long-term parking (NOK 20 per day).

Best view on Voss? In any case, it is not far from the truth; The hangar restaurant is the number one panoramic café in Voss! The combination of good food and drink, and great views is unbeatable.

A good selection of dishes is on the menu; such as, hamburger, baguettes, focaccia, soup, salad, cured meats, sour cream porridge, pancakes with ice cream, muffins, buns, fruit salad, cakes and ice cream. In addition, you can choose between different types of hot and cold drinks, as well as beer and wine.

One trail runs from the top of the Hangur lift, via Storastova on Slettafjellet and down into Bavallen. This goes on the road when the surface varies between gravel, crushed stone and soil. Here it is in some places steep and rugged, and is therefore best for those who have cycled a bit in terrain before.

The second trail is family-friendly, going from the top of the Hangur lift and down to the Hangur restaurant / Hangur lift. It is suitable for everyone who is used to riding a bike, and one does not need to have experience with mountain biking. The trail meanders down the trail at Hangursheisen. Here it is entirely possible to take detours along the way, against greater challenges for those who wish.

Exciting activities all year round! Voss Resort has more than 10 years of experience in arranging and carrying out various activities and team building for groups of between 6 and 600 participants. We adapt the activities to the season, and tailor a plan for your group or company.

Not only do we take care of the activity part, but we can arrange accommodation, transport, food and modern facilities for courses and seminars. Our cabins are perfect for groups. The goal of team building is to get groups to get to know each other better, test their communication skills and perhaps break some barriers. Our concept has been tested for many years, and reference customers are, for example, Vesta, Hydro, Statoil, Sparebanken Vest, TV2, Voss municipality, Telenor, NAV and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.

Team building should be fun! In addition, the transfer value of the daily challenges at work is good. Our program lasts for about 2.5 hours, but the activities can by agreement last shorter or longer. The exercises are arranged so that everyone will benefit from participating, at the same time they challenge the individual participant's creativity and ability to work together. Experience shows that the exercises involve all participants in the task solution, regardless of physical shape and role in the activity.

All the exercises take place out in the exploratory nature of Voss, but we can also perform team building elsewhere.

Our relay activities work well when you want a fun, but still competitive experience together. Perfect for the blue trip, or all other contexts where you want a light and good atmosphere. Choose between, for example, ax throwing, tug of war, setting up tents in the blind, and many other exciting activities. The participants are divided into teams, and the best team is awarded.

The new Ekstremstien runs from Bavallstunet, along Hangursfjellet and up to Hangursrestauranten. It is steeper than most other trails in the area, but you get an airy ride with fantastic views of Voss. The extreme trail is rough and demanding, but you have with you a locally known guide who shows you the best festival all the way. We recommend that the participants are 10 years old. At the Hangur restaurant, baguettes and coffee are served, then the trip goes down to Bavallstunet via Skitset.

Beautiful apartments with modern furnishings on the second floor of the service building in Bavallstunet. All are very well equipped, and suitable for self-catering. Standard equipment in all apartments is cable TV, dishwasher, washing machine, stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, duvets and pillows. All apartments have a private balcony with great views of the mountains and water.

Voss has a rich cultural life and the range of activities is large all year round. There are not many places in Norway where you can get such diverse nature and cultural experiences as here! Voss is a regional center with a versatile shopping offer and nightlife, exciting cultural life, activities that the whole family can enjoy, or more extreme development for those who are particularly interested.

For almost two hundred years, we have welcomed tourists who have sought the great experiences. Voss is located in the middle of the most famous fjords in Norway; Hardangerfjorden and Nærøyfjorden, and is thus a natural starting point for experiencing fjord Norway.

Before the cultural life, there is a lot going on in Voss. Some of the most famous events are Vossa Jazz, which kicks off the palm weekend every quarter of a year, Voss Cup and Ekstremsportveko in June and Smalahovesleppet and Osafestivalen in October.

Many characterize the ski slopes at Voss as the best in the country. Voss Resort's ski resort has varied slopes for one quarter level and the whole family enjoys skiing here! 40 km of groomed trails, 20 km of tracked cross-country trails, two children's areas, 12 different lifts / pulls including express lift and 3 restaurants in the facility.

The sports team annually holds major national and international competitions in alpine, jumping and freestyle. Nowhere else in the world has more Olympic and World Cup medal winners in winter sports than Voss. Kari Traa and Jan Einar Thorsen are just two of them.

The hangar restaurant has room for 120 guests, and is therefore suitable as a function room for most events. Here you can celebrate confirmation, wedding, anniversary, birthday or company lunch. Voss Resort can provide all kinds of food and drink, but it is entirely possible to keep company here with your own food.

Well you Bavallstunet for your company you have everything in one place. In addition to beautiful function rooms, Bavallstunet has a pleasant outdoor area with playground for the little ones, terrace and balcony, the possibility of a bar with all rights, meeting rooms with modern facilities and accommodation in cabins or apartments if your guests need it.

The dining room in Bavallstunet has been refurbished and rebuilt several times in recent years, and has modern and comfortable furnishings. The dining room seats 60 guests, and if you open the doors to the lounge, another 15 people can be served.

Stovo is a small red house just outside Bavallstunet. This is the place for more intimate parties and small teams. Here, 22 people can be served at the same time.
