Awesome seafood with a great Gulf view

If you prefer to stay dry, Panama City has several award-winning golf courses. For family fun, there are several theme parks in the area. Gulf World houses an exciting marine showcase; a boardwalk atmosphere and over 30 rides can be found at Miracle Strip Amusement Park; Zoo World Zoological and Botanical Park is home to a colorful variety of animals, including rare and endangered species; and Shipwreck Island is the largest water park within 300 miles (483 km). For the college crowd, from March to Easter Panama City Beach throws one of the biggest Spring Break parties in Florida. No matter how you like to spend your time in paradise, Panama City Beach has something to offer.

Venture to the remote areas of the island. Swim, snorkel, and search for shells. Food and drink included. Waverunner tours, rentals and "swim with the dolphins" boat trip.

If you think that most people come to Panama City Beach to enjoy the sand, water, and great seafood, you’re right! However, it is estimated that over a quarter million people visit us each year just for the great fishing! Offshore, in the beautiful gulf, is a bounty of game fish. Plan a trip to catch grouper or snapper. Troll for Spanish or king mackerel. Get way out there for marlin, sailfish, or shark. Schedule a private charter or climb aboard a party boat.

Not so adventurous, but love to fish? Our bays are full of bluefish and flounder. One local speckled trout captain even guarantees you’ll catch fish in our bays. No fish-no pay! For those who like to walk out and sit comfortably in the sun while they fish, the 1,642-foot-long Dan Russell Pier and the rock jetties at St. Andrews State Park await you. The local area is blessed with great freshwater fishing too. The lakes and streams are teeming with bass and bream.

For the avid golfer or for the beginner, the Panama City area has more golf than you can play during your vacation, unless you play every day. Not a bad idea! Eight 18-hole golf courses and two 9-hole courses are nearby, with fees to fit any budget! Call for more information, but whatever you do, don’t leave your clubs at home! Bay Dunes Golf Club is an exciting, scenic 18-hole course approximately 8 miles outside of Panama City.

A wide variety of family entertainment can be found on Panama City Beach in the evening hours. Adults can enjoy everything from patio bars to multi-level clubs with jolting music! Super bands, dancing, shows, you name it. Every type of musical taste can be satisfied from the classic hits to country, from heavy metal to big band music. Take a look at the list and get out on the town tonight!

From parasailing to waverunner rentals, you’ll have a blast playing on the area waters of the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches! With activities for the timid and the bold alike.

One of the biggest draws (aside from everything else) at the Seafood Festival is the music! And we’re not going to disappoint! LoneStar, Mila Mason, and Diamond Rio will all take to the stage this year, along with a number of local groups (including “Clutch”, a Rock and Roll band specializing in ‘50s and ‘60s music.) Also performing during the weekend will be “Dakota” and “Jeff Sadie & Promise”. Be sure to catch the shows!

Did we mention that there’re always exciting things happening? Here’s a sampling of what’s always going on: Food booths featuring world famous seafood from the area, Arts & Crafts, Bingo, Children’s Rides, Pony Rides, Roving Jugglers, and more!

A shuttle will run every 15 minutes from Frank Brown Park (located one mile east of highway 79, on Back Beach Road - see the map below.) First shuttle starts each day, beginning with the opening time of the Festival. Handicapped Parking is available off Front Beach Road, right next to the information booths and the entrance.

Panama City Beach restaurants of course always have access to the freshest seafood, often referring to the fact that "last night our fish slept in the Gulf". An absolute delight for seafood lovers, you'll find it all. Grouper, snapper, flounder, amberjack, tuna, pompano, shrimp, scallops, lobster, the list goes on and on. From Italian fare, to Chinese stir-fry, to Cajun crawfish, to big juicy steaks, mouth watering dishes of all kinds are available along the beach at great family prices.

With 23 miles of beaches, you may wish to enjoy your meals overlooking our beautiful Gulf waters at a number of Gulf front establishments. Regardless of your tastes or your budget, you will be able to experience all that our PC Beach restaurants have to offer during your visit.
