Bryce Canyon National Park

Experience the outdoors like never before. You'll travel by Hummer exploring some of Utah's wilderness areas in search of Elk and other wildlife. You'll be able to (hopefully) photograph wildlife from just a few feet away, if not you'll have a memorable ride through beautiful country. Your Hummer Safari will be the "best part of your whole vacation."

The only Best Western in the Bryce Canyon, Ruby's Inn area that's situated on a river, located one mile north of the town of Hatch on State Highway 89, approximately 25 scenic miles from the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park. The location of the present town of Hatch was determined in 1872, when Meltiar Hatch was told by Brigham Young, president of the Mormon Church, to settle at the point where the Mammoth and Asay Creeks join to form the Sevier River. He located his ranch at a site which later became the town of Hatch, about one mile south of the present town of Hatch.

The Inn includes a small convenience store (groveries, snacks, and trailer supplies), coin laundry, playground, flush toilets, hot showers, ice, river swimming, and ping-pong. Tables will be found in the recreation room and restaurant. Many of the campsites in the 25-acre facility are on the banks of the Sevier River.

In the Inn as well as in the surrounding area is excellent. The Sevier River, which forms the east boundry of the Riverside Campground, is stocked on a regular basis during the summer. A Department of Fish and Game truck places trout from the local fish hatchery into the river at the campground. Other excellent fishing may be found at Panguitch Lake, only 12 miles away. Inquire about other spots within easy reach.
