Equipment Rentals

Our South Lodge Rental Center features the Rossignol Cut 10.4 ski - one of the leading selling skis in the world - along with the Energy E boot for maximum adjustability, comfort and fit. We also offer the Rossignol Cut 10.1 ski in our sport model. We also feature mini-skis, also known ski boards, short skis that bring a whole new excitement to the sport.

Our Demo and Repair Center is where you can demo high performance equipment from Volkl, Rossignol, Salomon, Volant, Olin and Atomic. Our new Wintersteiger Tuning System is a ski and snowboard combination stone grinder and belt sander which delivers world class custom tunes.

Our South Lodge Rental Center features MLY snowboards, Emery One-Step Boots and Emery Toolless Step-in Bindings. The inventory of 700 set-ups makes Meadows the largest snowboard rental facility in the Northwest. The step-in system provides "on the fly" adjustability which means no tools are necessary to adjust. Valid drivers license and credit card are required to rent at the MLY Snowboard Rental Center.

Explore Mt. Hood’s only full service cross country skiing facility. Our trail system winds through peaceful meadows and sub-alpine forests in the pristine Mt. Hood National Forest. Explore 15 kilometers of professionally groomed skating lanes and molded tracks offering the best surface for skiers of all abilities.

Last season Meadows added its new Hood River Skier Services Center at the base of the Hood River Express. This year we've added a modular Nordic Center at the head of the trail to purchase track fees and rental equipment and there are rest rooms for your comfort and convenience.

The Nordic season begins as soon as weather conditions permit. The Nordic Center is open for rentals and track passes 9am to 4pm Wednesday through Sunday through March 26. Nordic tracks are groomed every morning to provide optimal skating and diagonal striding surfaces. However, conditions can be affected by heavy snowfall and skier traffic

Nordic skiing is an aerobic activity. Even on the coldest days you will generate heat from within. Start with a light breathable layer of non-restrictive poly-thermal long underwear, add layers of synthetics (or wool, not cotton), a wind layer and don't forget warm socks, gloves and a light hat or headband. Carry water, snacks, sunglasses and sunscreen. Be prepared for changing weather conditions.

Mt. Hood Meadows trail system connects to miles of US Forest Service backcountry ski trails, providing a huge network of nordic trails throughout the Mt. Hood National Forest. Backcountry trails are ungroomed, unpatrolled and recommended for experienced skiers only.

Meadows Snowshoe tours start in the South Lodge with Red Feather Performance snowshoes. You can hike the Pine Martin Loop to see the great views of Mt. Hood. Descend 4 kilometers and 900 vertical feet to the Hood River Nordic Center by the Sahallie Falls Trail. The Nordic Center is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily. Rent snowshoes and boots from the South Lodge Demo Center, North Lodge Rental Center or the Hood River Nordic Center.
