Caladesi Island
Ranked as one of the top three beaches in the United States, Caladesi Island has more than two miles of white sand beach on the Gulf. Caladesi is accessible by ferry departing hourly from Honeymoon Island, as well as Clearwater and Clearwater Beach. Caladesi Island State Park and beach is perfect for fishing, picknicking, boating, shelling, swimming, strolling or just plan relaxing. The park offers a nature trail, natural vegetation, abundant bird life, and interpretive programs.
Honeymoon Island
Sunbathing, swimming in the clear gulf water, fishing in both the surf and Hurricane Pass, picnicking and nature studies are popular activities. Honeymoon Island State Recreation area is accessible via Dunedin Causeway.
North Clearwater Beach
Located just a few blocks north of Causeway Blvd. on Mandalay Ave. North Clearwater Beach is the site of the old fishing pier now used for observation. Facilities include restrooms, beach showers, cabanas and umbrellas for rent. The Palm Pavilion provides concessions. Walk to shopping and restaurants. Metered parking available at $.25 per 20 minutes and is served by the Jolley Trolley. The Jolly Trolley serves Clearwater Beach, Memorial Causeway, Cleveland Street to Park Street in Downtown Clearwater.Clearwater Beach terminal at 40 Causeway Blvd.
Sand Key Park Beach
Located just south of Clearwater Pass Bridge on Gulf Blvd., Sand Key is rated as one of the top 14 beaches in the United States. The 65 acre park is part of the Pinellas County park system and offers swimming, beach showers, fishing, picnic areas, life guards, metered parking, and restrooms. Park is open daily until dark and is served by the Jolley Trolley.
