Great Lakes Tourism - Discover Northern Michigan
Like the mystical Brigadoon, this classic resort town seems to rise from among its three boundary waters: Lake Michigan, Lake Charlevoix, and Round Lake. Unlike Brigadoon, however, Charlevoix's history dates back much more than 100 years.
Picket fences, majestic maples, petunias, and Victorian homes. Three-masted schooners and gleaming yachts. Blue water and white sand everywhere. Charlevoix overflows with tradition. Communities within the city like the Chicago Club and the Belvedere Club have been "home" for out-of-state and downstate families for centuries. No matter what time of year, you'll want to meander down our main street, the "longest" four blocks in Michigan. While the distance is short, the views and stores make it impossible to walk without several stops. There are fine art galleries, clothing boutiques, gourmet restaurants, parks and boat marinas. All this surrounds one of the most protected and beautiful harbors in the world.
Whether you're here for business or pleasure, Charlevoix offers a variety of lodging accommodations from resort hotels to convenient & affordable motels to cozy bed & breakfasts and the Charlevoix Convention & Visitors Bureau is the area's leading authority on finding just what you need. Check below on the type of accommodation that appeals to you and you will get a complete listing of the Charlevoix CVB member properties along with contact information.
